Mariott Resort Kauai is a great hotel with
lots of facilities; beautiful grounds, a nice pool, the beach
close by (right in front of the hotel), a small garden with a
lake with geese and ducks. The room was nice and clean, I guess
typical Marriott. It's one of the most expensive places to stay on
the island - in fact we didn't stay there because our budget didn't allow
it but had some friends who were guests and got to see the grounds
and the rooms. The hotel is located in Lihue close to the airport.
They provide a shuttle to pick you up from the airport.
